Dawson County Senior Services Director Dawn Johnson told the Board on July 3 that LegacyLink addendum number 3 provides an extra $4,724 to cover the cost of 934 home-delivery meals for seniors. Johnson said the added funds will cover the listed meals for the remainder of the month and that the county will not have to pay for those meals.

Commissioners briefly acknowledged recurring contract addenda for LegacyLink; one commissioner noted the county has had multiple small addenda in the past. Johnson said the county should be able to use the funds for the full month and that staff will return if further approvals are needed.
