The Sawyer County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council on Sept. 10 approved the previous meeting’s minutes and agreed to remove two agenda items, including a planned financial analysis of program funding.
Council members voted to approve the minutes after a motion, a second and brief discussion. The meeting record does not identify the motion’s mover or seconder by name. The motion passed by voice vote.
The council also agreed to remove agenda item 12 — described as a financial analysis of cut program funding — and agenda item 13(c). The chair said item 12 will be brought back at a later meeting when budget details are clearer and that projections for opioid settlement funds (noted as planning on $100,000) will return when pending funding-stream decisions are finalized.
The chair announced the executive committee will resume meetings on the last Friday of each month beginning in September to review a checklist and bylaws. The meeting was called to order at 12:12 p.m.; a roll call established a quorum.
