The Austin City Council Mobility Committee on Oct. 16 unanimously approved two procedural items.

The committee approved the minutes of its Sept. 18, 2025 Mobility Committee meeting. Council Member Harper Madison made the motion and Council Member Vela seconded. Chair Paige Ellis called the vote; those present voted “aye” unanimously (four votes in favor). The committee recorded Vice Chair Cadrey as absent due to a newborn in the family.

The committee then approved the Mobility Committee calendar for calendar year 2026. Council Member Vela moved and Council Member Harper Madison seconded the motion; the committee voted unanimously in favor (four votes in favor). The proposed 2026 meeting dates approved were: Jan. 15; Feb. 12; March 5; April 2; May 14; July 9; Sept. 3; Oct. 1; Nov. 12; and Dec. 10.

No public speakers were recorded for either item. Both motions passed with no recorded no votes or abstentions among members present.
