The Reno County Planning Commission opened its Oct. 16 meeting, took roll, approved the minutes from the Sept. 18, 2025 meeting by unanimous voice vote, reviewed proposed text amendments on communication towers, additional dwelling units and shipping containers, and then adjourned.
"Is there any discussion on that motion? Seeing none, all in favor of approval of 09/18/2025 minutes, say aye. Aye. Opposed, same sign. Minutes are approved," Chair Eric Martin said during the motion to approve the prior meeting minutes. At the close of the Oct. 16 meeting, commissioners moved and seconded to adjourn; the motion carried.
No formal ordinances or code changes were adopted at the Oct. 16 meeting. Planning staff said it will refine the draft language on towers, ADUs and containers and consult with other staff before returning with revised drafts and potential public-hearing dates.
