At its Oct. 16 meeting the Mehlville R‑IX Board of Education recorded several unanimous (7‑0) votes on procedural and action items.

The board approved the meeting agenda as presented (motion carried 7‑0). It approved the lowest qualified bids for HVAC upgrades (see separate article) and then approved action items by consent (items a–h) as presented, with the motion carrying 7‑0. The board also voted to nominate and approve a second Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA) delegate and an alternate delegate. Gene Prado was approved as the board’s second MSBA delegate and Anne Zimpher was approved as the alternate delegate; both motions carried 7‑0.

Later in the meeting the board voted to enter closed session under provisions of the Missouri Revised Statutes cited in the motion (Mo. Rev. Stat. §610.021 and §610.022) for listed purposes including personnel and litigation matters; a roll‑call vote recorded seven yes votes. The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn.
