Boulder authority approves neighborhood boundaries for Scratch Labs Cafe change-of-location

At its Oct. 15 meeting the Beverage Licensing Authority approved suggested neighborhood boundary lines for Scratch Labs Cafe’s requested change of location to 1245 Alpine Avenue and continued a separate boundary matter to November.
The Boulder Beverage Licensing Authority on Oct. 15 approved neighborhood boundary lines for a pending change-of-location application from Scratch Labs Cafe, 1245 Alpine Avenue. The authority adopted the suggested boundaries (Iris to the north, Mapleton to the south, Twentieth Street to the east and Third Street extended to the west) and voted to set those limits for the forthcoming application hearing.
Licensing staff also continued a separate boundary setting for Creep Shack Boulder LLC, d/b/a Creep Therapy Café, to November so the applicant could finalize materials and appear for a December application hearing. The authority noted no other administrative items required motions at the hearing and confirmed a quorum for scheduled December business.
The boundary decision is procedural and sets the neighborhood for notice and interested-party determinations when the change-of-location application for Scratch Labs Café proceeds through the BLA process.
