CPC recommends Leah Fabian for resident-at-large housing seat to Select Board

The Community Preservation Committee voted Oct. 16 to recommend Evangelina Leah Fabian for the committee's open resident-at-large housing seat and will forward the recommendation to the Select Board for appointment at its Oct. 21 meeting.

Committee members reviewed Fabian's emailed statement of interest, which cited past service on the Select Board, the MBTA advisory board, the Middleborough Housing Authority and the Greater Taunton Regional Housing Consortium. The committee moved, seconded and approved a recommendation memo to the Select Board; committee staff said they would transmit the recommendation and attempt to place the appointment on the Oct. 21 Select Board agenda.

The committee's vote was unanimous by voice vote.
