Nibley City Council voted Oct. 16 to appoint Randy Feaster to represent Nibley on the Cache Mosquito Abatement District board.

Mayor Larry Jacobson said he had spoken with Feaster, reviewed the district’s responsibilities and confirmed Feaster’s willingness to serve. The council discussed the district’s role, which was described as well‑staffed and not typically controversial; members said the board oversees mosquito control across the county and that the district is generally professionally managed.

A motion to appoint Feaster (Garrett moved; Eric seconded) passed by roll call with no opposition. Feaster will take the seat immediately and attend district meetings as Nibley’s representative.
