Joanna Small, Northglenn city clerk, told attendees that ballots for the upcoming municipal election will be mailed Oct. 10 and must be returned by 7 p.m. on election day, Nov. 4. "Ballots will be mailed on October 10 and must be returned by 7PM on election day, November 4," Small said.
Small said voters in each of Northglenn’s four wards will elect one council member to a four-year term this year and explained return options. Voters may return ballots by mail or drop them off at one of the city’s 24-hour drop boxes. She warned that postmarks do not count for the deadline: "If you return your ballot by mail, please remember that postmarks do not count for the deadline."
Small identified a permanent 24-hour drop-off box located next to City Hall in the Old Recreation Center parking lot just north of the Veterans Memorial. The clerk’s announcement provided logistical details for voters but did not include additional voting rules or ballot instructions.
