Lucas, Director of Planning and Development, told the commission the grant would be paid at an 80% federal share and that the city would provide a 20% match if selected. “The Americans with Disabilities Act does require all municipalities to have, an ADA transition plan,” Lucas said, describing the plan as a multi‑year roadmap for bringing sidewalks, streets and public facilities into ADA compliance.
