The Canyon City Commission on Aug. 26 approved the proposed budget for the Canyon Economic Development Corporation, which adds $50,000 for small-business assistance and $50,000 to help match grants for downtown revitalization, a CEDC presenter said.
The change leaves the CEDC with a projected net positive operating balance of about $75,000 for the coming fiscal year, the presenter said, and fund balances of a little more than $550,000 in the general account and roughly $330,000 in the marketing account.
