The Jacksonville City Council on July 8 approved four appointments and reappointments to the Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation (JEDCO) board.

District-level and council-wide appointments confirmed at the meeting: Loretta Doty (District 1, incumbent), Darryl DeMitt (District 2, reappointment), Dylan Rodriguez (District 3, reappointment by Mayor Pro Tem Tim McRae) and Robert Cudd (council appointment). Each nomination was moved and seconded by council members and approved by voice vote; the transcript shows no roll-call tallies.

Council members made the appointments individually in the meeting sequence and confirmed each by voice vote. The appointments will allow JEDCO to continue board activities supporting local business recruitment and development.
