- Administrative appointments (item 9b): The board approved several administrative hires recommended by the superintendent: Horacio Hernandez for chief technology officer; Robert Norton for principal at Herschel Antoine Middle School; Lorenzo Lopez for assistant principal at America's High School; and Stephanie Havlik for assistant principal at El Dorado High School. Motions to approve were made and seconded on the record and approved by voice votes.
