Two long-serving agency officials told the Cannabis Compliance Board on Oct. 16 that they will depart the agency soon, and the board set a schedule of regulatory workshops to implement recent statutory changes.
David Staley, division chief of investigations, said he will retire in early November after “a little over 30 years” with the state and has accepted a job as executive director of the gaming and cannabis commissions for the Oneida Nation in upstate New York.
