The court approved $17,500 for the current fiscal year and discussed using remaining funds to make a final contribution in the following year.
A motion to allocate $17,500 to OYCC passed by voice vote with no recorded opposition. County staff said payment will be processed through accounts payable and mailed to OYCC.
Court members said the program aligns with past county planning goals for youth services and that the county retained the funding stream after the Commission on Children and Families was discontinued.
