The Baldwin Park City Council voted 4-0 Wednesday, Oct. 15, to excuse Mayor Pro Tem Damien from the councils special meeting. The action occurred during roll call at approximately 5:12 p.m.

Mayor Avila moved to excuse Mayor Pro Tem Damien, and Council member Bridal seconded the motion. Mayor Avila, Council member Ayala, Council member Estrada and Council member Lozano voted yes; the motion carried 4-0.

Council members conducted a brief roll call following the motion. The city clerk reported that no requests for public comment had been received. The council noted there was no open session business and stated it would not recess into a closed session.
