At the Oct. 9 meeting the Livingston Parish Council handled several administrative items: it accepted the resignation of Coral Stafford from the Florida Parish Human Resource Authority Board, ratified an appointment (Deborah B. Propog) to fill Stafford’s term through Dec. 31, 2025, and ratified the reappointment of Brandon Browning to a term through April 30, 2027. The motions passed unanimously.
The council also approved a resolution to add a list of roads to the parish priority list for consideration. Roads named during the meeting included Creekstone Drive, Cobblestone Drive, Fieldstone Drive, Stonehill Drive, Drakeford McMorris Road, Chandler Bluff Road, Hawks Cove, Gum Swamp Road, George Watts Road, River Pines, Union Landing, Boss McNabb and Fairway Road. The council voted to approve the additions by voice vote.
Council members discussed scheduling for other appointments (e.g., gravity drainage district and recreation board appointments) to be taken up at a later meeting. Several committees reported upcoming meetings, including the finance and infrastructure committees, which will review the budget and bond commission matters.
