A patron addressed the Grain Valley R-V Board of Education to request that the district allow patrons to give public comment at both regular meetings and workshops.

The patron, identified in the meeting as Miss Bridal, asked the board to "have patron comments be at each meeting, workshop and meeting" so that community members could respond more promptly when an issue first appears on a workshop agenda. She said the current schedule—where some matters discussed in a workshop may not be on a full board meeting agenda for up to four weeks—delays community feedback on issues the board may act on shortly afterward.

Board members acknowledged the concern during the superintendent's report and said staff would review the patron-comment cadence. No policy change or formal action was taken at the meeting; the comment was received for consideration.
