Planning staff presented revised application templates for site plan and driveway permit processes and said the town will stop requiring newspaper legal notices in some permit packets. The packet included updated checklists and a refreshed application layout.
Board members flagged the current driveway permit fee of $75 as insufficient to cover inspection costs and suggested increasing the fee to roughly $250–$300 to cover engineering or inspector time; staff said they will review and return proposed fee updates and updated forms at a future meeting.
Separately, staff told the board it is still confirming whether any escrow funds remain for the Tanya Lane project and has held a contractor invoice pending confirmation. Staff said they found an outstanding engineering bill of about $550 in the file and are seeking finance‑department confirmation before authorizing payment. The board was advised it will hold public hearing steps for the Tanya Lane road acceptance process until the applicant demonstrates required work and escrow reconciliation.
The board directed staff to print the revised application packet and distribute it for review at the next meeting.
