Education staff presented three proposed field trips for first reading: an international service trip to Costa Rica (2026), an overnight competition trip for the North Ridgeville High School cheer team to Walt Disney World (Feb. 5–9, 2026) and a supervised overnight college-visit trip to Washington, D.C., and Gallaudet University for American Sign Language students (March 2026). The items were presented as first readings and will be on the Oct. 21 agenda for second reading and possible approval.
