Canton Township announced changes to its Priority Waste solid-waste collection schedule for the holiday season.

For Thanksgiving week, there will be no collection on Thursday, Nov. 27; all Thursday and Friday collection routes that week will be delayed by one day. For Christmas week, there will be no collection on Thursday, Dec. 25; Thursday and Friday routes will be delayed by one day. For New Year’s Day week, there will be no collection on Thursday, Jan. 1; Thursday and Friday routes will be delayed by one day, the announcement said.

The program directed residents with questions to visit cantonmi.gov or to call Priority Waste at (586) 228-1200.
