Staff said the delay was partly because state granting agencies had asked the city for additional information on grant applications before issuing award letters; staff prioritized those time‑sensitive grant responses and will return with the surplus‑land documentation at the next meeting.
Committee members agreed to keep the item on the calendar and take up the surplus declaration when staff provides the compiled documentation. No formal action to declare the parcels surplus was taken at the meeting.
