Planning board approves Drury Plaza Hotel site plan for 7-story, 180-room development

The Daytona Beach Planning Board on Sept. 25 approved a major site plan application (DEV2025-296) from Drury Development Corporation to demolish existing buildings and construct a seven-story Drury Plaza Hotel with about 180 guest rooms on a 4.64-acre site west of Indigo Drive. Emilio Ryan, senior planner for the city, presented the staff report and recommended approval.
The project site is located west of Indigo Drive between the International Speedway Square shopping center to the north and the Best Western hotel to the south.
