At its Oct. 20 regular session, the Oconee County Board of Education approved a package of purchases, capital projects and administrative items and voted to table a draft student electronic-device policy for public comment.

Each item was recommended by district staff and approved by unanimous voice vote. The meeting record shows motions and seconds for the grouped items and each vote was announced as passing 4–0.
The board later moved into executive session to discuss personnel matters; the board cited an affidavit to be attached to the minutes and approved the move by vote.
