Local student asks Sunrise Commission to back Broward Green Schools campaign; commissioners express support

A small group from the Broward Sierra Club and a Fort Lauderdale High School senior addressed the commission during open discussion to request a Sunrise proclamation supporting the Broward Green Schools campaign and a county‑level transition to clean energy for Broward County Schools by 02/19/2030.
