The board’s packet and the discussion at the study session laid out deadlines and next steps: a media release will go out Oct. 23; applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Nov. 6; the board will finalize interview questions on Nov. 17; interviews are scheduled for Nov. 20 with an alternate interview date of Jan. 5; and the appointed candidate would not take office until at least 30 days after appointment, with the likely start at the board’s organization meeting in January.
