Commissioners moved to approve the minutes of the Sept. 10 regular city commission meeting and the Sept. 17 agenda review; the motion was adopted by voice vote with all commissioners saying "aye." The commission then approved the consent agenda in its entirety by voice vote with no opposition.
During consent‑agenda discussion staff clarified item 10a, an amendment to the lease between the city and Flight Line Winter Haven LLC. Staff said the amendment "provides for 4 additional 1 year renewals at the lessor's or the city's option, with 60 day notice required" and "either party may terminate that lease agreement for convenience with 60 day notice." No public comment was received on the consent agenda items before the commission voted.
Votes recorded at the meeting showed Mayor Nathaniel J. Birdsong Jr., Mayor Pro Tem Yates, Commissioner Lisonbee, Commissioner Mercer and Commissioner Dantzler present; no votes opposing or abstaining were recorded on the minutes approval or consent agenda adoption.
