At its Oct. 20, 2025, hearing, the Board of Adjustment Panel C approved three applications listed on its uncontested docket by a 5-0 voice vote.
Vice member Mr. Sashington moved to grant the applications after concluding the submissions satisfied the Dallas Development Code requirements and the general purpose and intent of the code. The motion covered: BOA25000043 (special exception to fence height and surface-area openness requirements, applicant Robert Baldwin); BOA25000048 (special exception to landscaping regulations and a variance to off-street parking, applicant Edwin Marlonanda Vargas); and BOA2500051 (special exceptions to fence height regulations along Baker Avenue and Angelina Drive, applicant Andre Buckling). The motion required compliance with the most recent version of all submitted plans as a condition of approval.
The board secretary called the roll and the motion passed unanimously, 5-0. The approvals on the uncontested docket were handled together as a single motion consistent with the board’s practice when staff and the submitted materials indicate no contested issues.
Each approval includes the condition that the development must comply with the latest approved plans on file with the board; the decisions will be added to the public record and letters mailed to applicants.
