Member Hirsch moved to approve item 5 as read; the board recorded aye responses and carried the item.
Under agenda item 6 the board approved extensions of eligible lists for multiple classifications after removing one position from consideration. Deputy City Attorney Michelle Alaniz notified the board that a request had been received to strike Bridal Protection Services Officer 1 from item 6. Member Panachello moved to approve item 6 as amended; the motion carried on recorded voice votes with ayes and no opposition noted in the transcript.
The board also certified the classification specification for lead court clerk under agenda item 7 after a motion by Member Clemons; that item carried on a voice vote with ayes recorded. Earlier in the meeting the board approved by motion the final minutes of the Sept. 24, 2025 meeting.
Chair Brown called roll and confirmed a quorum with Vice Chair Ponicello, Member Clemons, Member Hesch present; Member Stamper was excused. The board stated it was in compliance with the open meeting law. There were no public comments during the portions of the agenda that allow public participation. The meeting then moved to citizen participation and was adjourned when no speakers came forward.
