At a Sept. 24, 2025 meeting at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, the Louisiana Tax Commission approved 681 of 699 change orders, placed 14 in pending status and denied 4 after a staff review, the commission was told.
Shandrika Banks, staff for the Louisiana Tax Commission, told commissioners, "Today, we have a total of 699 change orders. Staff has reviewed those change orders and requests approval of 681, placed 14 in pending status, and denies 4. Staff requests approval of these change orders." The commission adopted a motion to approve the staff recommendation after the chair asked for objections and heard none.
Banks also reported on a separate set of 35 prior pending change orders. "Today, we have a total of 35 prior pending change orders. Staff has reviewed those change orders and requests approval of all 35," she said. A motion to approve those 35 prior pending change orders was made and adopted with no objections recorded.
There was no substantive public discussion recorded on the change orders during the meeting. The actions were taken by voice vote with the chair stating "hearing none, motion is adopted." The transcript does not record individual recorded roll-call votes or the names of movers and seconders for the motions.
The commission convened at 9:17 a.m. and completed these agenda items as part of a short meeting that concluded with adjournment at 9:19 a.m.
