Platte County commissioners voted Sept. 22 to approve a cooperative purchase agreement with CXT Incorporated for a prefabricated restroom and storage building for Michael Gunn Park at the Platte Meadows Phase 2 project.

Daniel Erickson, director of Platte County Parks and Recreation, said the Phase 2 project includes expanded parking, a destination playground, a shelter house and the restroom/storage building. Erickson said the county is using a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract and that the county counselor reviewed the agreement as to legality; the county auditor certified available funds. He said the total cost for the structure is $243,601.

The commission approved the purchase agreement (2025-CO-133) on a 3-0 roll call. No construction schedule or additional funding breakdowns were presented in the meeting record.
