The Franklin County Commission voted Sept. 24 to adopt the County of Franklin on-site wastewater disposal code book.

Commissioners approved commission order 2025-269 and later commission order 2025-270, each described at the meeting as the county's on-site wastewater disposal system code book. "We made changes to the code new and improved," a commissioner said during the discussion.

Both motions for adoption were moved, seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote. The meeting record shows commissioners saying, "All in favor? Aye. Opposed, same sign. Motion carries." The orders were recorded as approved without further amendment during the session.
