The Pickleweed Advisory Committee voted to forward a student-designed mural for the Pickleweed Library children’s room to the City of San Rafael Public Art Review Board after a presentation by the nonprofit Youth and Arts.
The artwork — created by five teen artists working with Youth and Arts’ lead teaching artist — will be printed on vinyl and installed in the renovated children’s room once that work is complete. The committee approved forwarding the proposal in a roll-call vote that recorded five yes votes, one no and one absence.
