The Weld County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved a resolution declaring certain county equipment surplus and authorized sale at auction via Roller & Associates, delegating authority to the county controller to sign necessary documents.

Rusty Williams of County Finance said fleet services and Public Works identified items for disposal during cleanup efforts and recommended the board declare the listed equipment surplus and proceed to auction. Commissioner Maxey moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.

The board did not discuss a detailed inventory list or estimated proceeds during the meeting; staff will execute auction documentation through Roller & Associates and return any required reporting to the board.
