Van Zandt County commissioners approved three appointments to the county library board on Friday after the library board presented candidates to fill recent vacancies. Deborah Johnson, speaking for the library board, said three members had resigned or turned in their paperwork and the board voted to present Linda Boston for Precinct 2, Kathleen Bork for Precinct 2 and Jennifer Collins for Precinct 3. A commissioner moved to approve the three appointments; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The appointments will restore the library board to 14 members.
