Council amends order of business to add commission and committee appointments to meetings

Prescott Valley, Ariz. — The Town Council unanimously approved Ordinance 2025-961 Sept. 25 amending section 2-04-060 (order of business) to add a line for commission and committee appointments in the council meeting agenda.

Staff and the ordinance text said the change inserts a new line item into Article 2 (Council Procedure) of Chapter 2 (Mayor and Council) so appointments to commissions and committees will appear explicitly on meeting agendas. The ordinance states other town code provisions remain in full force and that the ordinance is effective 30 days after passage.
