The City of Superior Common Council on Dec. 15 approved a one-year contract extension with the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) to continue household hazardous waste collection and drop-off services.
Public Works Director Janago recommended the extension. Councilors moved to approve the agreement and the motion carried by voice vote.
The extension maintains the city's existing household hazardous waste arrangement with WLSSD for another year.
