St. Johns County commissioners on Aug. 5 enacted Ordinance No. 2025-20 to approve REZ 2025-05, a rezoning of approximately 0.24 acres at 940 State Road 16 from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) with conditions to Commercial General (CG) with conditions.
The Planning and Zoning Agency recommended approval of the request 6–0 at its June 26 hearing. Attorney Alex Harden presented the application to the board, and there was no public comment during the BCC hearing.
Motion by Commissioner Murphy, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, carried 5–0 to enact the ordinance based on the four findings of fact in the staff report. The rezoning will proceed under the conditions set forth in the ordinance and associated staff report.
