Commissioners approve Varley Lake House variance

Justice MacGeorge, planner with the Community Development Department, told commissioners the site is constrained but meets the criteria for variance approval and ‘‘does not seem like the variance will negatively interfere with the neighbors.’’ There was no public testimony opposing the variance during the hearing.
The motion to approve the variance passed on a recorded voice vote with Commissioner Eberlein, Commissioner Duncan and Chair Metari all voting aye.
