EPIC Church solar canopy application carried to Nov. 25 after plan inconsistency

The chair told the board: “Case 2514, the EPIC Church at 2707 Main Street Extension, is not appearing tonight.” Staff explained the applicant discovered the submitted solar canopy plans did not match plans previously approved for the adjacent Riverton developer’s project; that mismatch would change the layout of the solar panels. The applicant asked to carry the application to Nov. 25 and requested that fee and service be preserved while revised plans are prepared.
The board confirmed that no further notification would be required for the carried application and agreed to hear the matter at the Nov. 25 meeting with the applicant’s service preserved. No public comment or hearing occurred on the item Sept. 24 because the applicant was not present.
