The City of Willowick Plan Review Board on Sept. 11 approved a permit for Priced to Sale at 31804 Vine Street. The applicant, Mr. Blount of Euclid, told the board he currently owns the neighboring business and that he refurbishes appliances acquired via auctions and online purchases for retail sale at a storefront.
Blount said he also refurbishes furniture in the back of the store and partners with churches to donate those items; he said the donated furniture will not be sold. Chairman Brennan asked whether any items would be stored outside; Blount said nothing would be stored on the exterior of the property and that refurbishing would occur inside.
A motion to approve Priced to Sale at 31804 Vine Street was made by Mr. McLaughlin and seconded by Mr. Lazor. Voting aye were Chairman Brennan, Chief Malovrh Jr., Mr. McLaughlin and Mr. Lazor; the motion carried.
The board recorded no additional conditions relating to exterior storage or use beyond the applicant’s statements.
