New commissioner Elizabeth Vignolo sworn in to housing authority board

Elizabeth Vignolo was sworn in as a commissioner of the New Brunswick Housing Authority during Tuesday’s meeting. Alberto Camacho administered the oath and Vignolo repeated the pledge to support the U.S. and New Jersey constitutions and to “faithfully, impartially, and justly perform all the duties of commissioner of the housing authority of the city of New Brunswick.”
Vignolo introduced herself to the board and said she grew up nearby in Middletown, attended Rutgers University and is an attorney living in New Brunswick. Colleagues welcomed her and several board members noted she brings legal experience and local roots to the board.
Chairman Wright and other commissioners said staff would provide her packet materials and orientation for upcoming meetings. Vignolo will participate in board business going forward.
