The Dixon Unit School District 170 board approved a copier vendor and maintenance contract at its Sept. 24 meeting. Board members voted to authorize the district to proceed with the selected vendor and to begin transition work with the named contact. Staff told trustees the procurement followed a period of review and that Marco Lee Bender (named in the presentation) will begin the transition process. “There is nothing unusual in this month's consent agenda,” a presenter said when recommending approval. After the vote, staff said they would work with the vendor to initiate the transition by the end of the next month. Trustees recorded their votes by roll call and approved the contract as presented.
