The Weld County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 24 approved amendment no. 3 to the facility usage license agreement for the Friendly Fork Senior Nutrition program in Mead and authorized the chair to sign contract ID 9912. Jamie Ulrich of the Department of Human Services told the board the county pays $50 per week to use the facility, amounting to $2,350 for the year, and that the expense is funded from the federal Older Americans Act. "This facility is in Mead, Colorado, and we utilize their facility to do our friendly fork program," Ulrich said. She asked the board to approve the addendum to the license agreement. The board voted to approve the contract, moved by Commissioner Kevin Ross and seconded by Commissioner Annette Peppler. No public comment was recorded during the item.
