James Allen Jr., who gave his address as 1549 East Babble Lane, said he has seen more reckless driving in recent months, including a motorcyclist performing a wheelie on Eighth Avenue and a white Dodge Charger driving "probably about 45 miles per hour" on C Street near a medical pharmacy. "If you see something like this, don't feel bad about just dialing 911," Allen said, urging neighbors to report dangerous driving before someone is killed. Angela Delgado, a resident of the Los Alamos area, said she has lived in her subdivision 14 years and that the recent crash at a particular curve marked a third fatality there. She asked whether anything could be done to "expedite that curve" and asked the council what ADOT has proposed. The mayor asked staff member Olivia Jenkins to take Delgado's contact information so the city can provide a follow‑up on the project's status. No formal action or vote was taken during the public‑comment portion; staff recorded concerns and a staff member agreed to follow up with the resident with any updates the city has about the road project or ADOT involvement.
