San Luis council approves $77,871 purchase of electric litter vacuum for parks

Roldan said the MadVac LN50 electric all‑terrain litter vacuum is designed for public areas, can be operated by a single staff member and offers quieter, "0 emission operation," which staff said would allow faster turnaround after events and broader citywide cleanup support. One council member asked whether other cities in the county use the same equipment; Roldan said she was not certain which other jurisdictions have the machine but noted public works had tried to acquire similar equipment previously.
