Celeste Dowdell, a staff member, told the board the last exam occurred on June 3, 2025, with four candidates: two passed and two failed. She said the next exam is scheduled for Nov. 4, 2025, but as of her report only one application had been received and that applicant had not yet been deemed eligible; the application deadline is Oct. 10. Dowdell said she would need to discuss whether the exam will proceed with only one candidate with a colleague named Steve.
No public comments were offered during the meeting. After the exam update and routine business, the interim chair moved to adjourn at 9:35 a.m.; a board member seconded the motion and members voted to adjourn. The board noted its next meeting will be held in November.
