The Glendale City Council on Sept. 23 reappointed Jack Pritt to a two-year term as city judge, with an effective reappointment date of Oct. 16, 2025. The motion to reappoint carried on a roll-call vote with all present council members voting aye.
Staff noted the council initially appointed Pritt on Oct. 16, 2023, and that the reappointment follows the procedures in the city charter and Glendale city code governing judicial appointments.
Council Member Milner moved to reappoint Pritt; a second was recorded. During roll call each council member present voted aye. Vice Mayor Tomlachoff and other council members praised Pritt’s performance, with the presiding chair saying, “Mister Pritt has impressed everybody. Absolutely impressed everybody.”
No public comment on the reappointment was recorded during the meeting. The council took no additional actions or conditions tied to the reappointment.
