The Cobb County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 23 approved a contract with Chatfield Contracting Inc. in an amount not to exceed $115,144 for drainage system repairs on Woodland Brook Drive at Farmington Drive (project B2266). Drew Esler, deputy county manager with the Department of Transportation, presented the item and recommended board approval, associated budget transactions, and authorization for county staff to execute the necessary documents.
Commissioners moved and seconded the recommendation and the motion carried unanimously 5–0. The contract covers drainage repairs at the specified intersection, and the board—s action authorizes procurement and the corresponding budget adjustments necessary to complete the work.
Less-critical details: the project is identified as B2266; staff asked that the board authorize the corresponding budget transaction and execution of documents by appropriate county personnel.
