Leslie and Jenny said they want a clear accounting of the owner’s investment and assurances about outcomes such as job creation or increased tax base before the committee considers a grant.
The committee discussed scheduling the owner for a CIP meeting presentation (possible dates cited included late October) and asked Chip to contact the owner to confirm availability and to request financial documentation. No vote or grant award was made at the Sept. 23 meeting.
